Meet Diamond — a flashy golden palomino gelding with all the mane and tail, and all the heart you could ever ask for. He truly is a "Diamond in the Rough" and one of those special horses that does not come around often.

Diamond is the kind of horse everyone is looking for: sturdy made, gentle, safe, trustworthy, and absolutely full of personality. He is beginner friendly and will carefully tote riders of all ages and sizes around with confidence and ease. Whether it is a complete beginner, a child riding independently, or multiple kids piled on his back at once, Diamond takes it all in stride and makes taking care of his rider his top priority.

The 4- and 7-year-old girls at Yoder Equine ride Diamond through town, out on the trails, and all around with no worries. They use him as a sliding board, crawl all over him, and even pile on him with the other kids — and Diamond just stands there like the saint he is. He absolutely loves kids. If there is a child nearby, he lights up, walks over, and lowers his head like he knows exactly who he belongs with.

Diamond is as broke and versatile as they come. He lays down and sits on command, rides bridle-less, and has even been ridden down the road bridle-less by the photographer while filming sale videos — and he never took a bad step. He drives single or double through town, ponies colts effortlessly to help teach them to lead and understand pressure, and has been used on a working ranch for pasture roping and doctoring cattle.

He also has a wonderful liberty foundation. Diamond stays locked on, attentive, and waiting for the next cue. He wants to be with you, wants to please, and has that quiet, connected way of going that makes him feel like a true partner.

Under saddle, Diamond has more whoa than go and prefers to enjoy life at a leisurely pace. He is happy to slow down, take his time, and keep things relaxed, but when asked, he will easily pick up the pace. He is honest, careful, and steady no matter the circumstance.

Diamond is flashy enough to turn heads everywhere he goes, but it is his mind, kindness, and once-in-a-lifetime personality that make him so special. Horses like him are hard to find — safe, fun, talented, kid-loving, ranch-proven, trick-trained, and gentle to the core.
